| This page lists the extensive range of houses we offer - scroll down to see a basic description and click on the underlined name to open pages with lots more information; pictures and prices. Each house is made to order so personal requirements can be accommodated. We can also supply the feeders, drinkers, electric fencing for your birds. If you are within collecting distance we breed our own chickens and ducks here on the farm. See the links above for more information. While there is no imminent threat of domestic birds being required to be locked up due to Bird Flu all our units can be easily adapted to conform to the current guidelines to protect them from Avian Influenza. For larger mobile runs that can be covered look at the Run Panels. Our integral runs could all be simply covered in plastic or sheeting if the worst should ever happen in the future. |

Softwood construction using 'Tanalised' tongue and groove cladding
and framing that is either 'Tanalised' or 'Fentex' protected.
All roofs are clad with 'Onduline' corrugated sheet made from bitumen saturated organic fibre, these are hinged for easy access and cleaning on all units except those provided entrance doors. Roosting bars are fitted. Access for all livestock is via a pop hole with a sliding door. High level ventilation is provided on all units plus additional adjustable vent on larger units. All units are supplied with a solid floor. 25mm square 16 gauge heavy mesh is used on all runs for strength and security The finished colour of the units is 'nut' brown, fixtures and fittings are galvanised or plated. All units are sectional and delivered flat packed with screws provided for easy assembly.
